Position Overview:
The main office school secretary is the first point of contact for students, families, staff, and visitors. Their role is essential to the daily operation of the school, balancing administrative responsibilities with customer service and organizational support. Greet and assist students, parents, visitors, and staff. Answer and direct phone calls and emails. Manage the reception area and monitor visitor sign-in procedures. Provide excellent customer service to the school community Record and monitor daily attendance. Prepare attendance reports and communicate with families regarding absences. Prepare correspondence, newsletters, forms, and reports. Organize and file documents, both electronically and in paper form. Order and maintain office supplies. Coordinate mail and deliveries. Maintain office equipment and arrange for repairs when needed. This is a full time position with benefits available from 7 a.m. - 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. During the summer, we have reduced summer hours from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
