An Administrative Clerk or Coordinator performs administrative work in an office. Coordinates work to support an office team. Works in a wide variety of office settings, such as a company or business, or a government office or school. Manages paper and electronic files, uses office equipment including computers, responds to phone calls and emails. May manage office staff expenses, supplies or schedules.
This position performs a wide variety of general clerical, administrative, and/or account keeping functions including basic processing, reception, filing, record keeping, bookkeeping, data entry, and typing with speed and accuracy.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs general office support duties including copying, processing mail (sorting, time-stamping, sorting, logging and distributing), answering and routing telephone calls, filing (both electronic and paper), record and account keeping, data entry, word processing Create and maintain documents, spreadsheets, records and applications Update and maintain departmental lists, services, contacts, etc. Maintain, update, and generate departmental records, reports and statistics Provide customer service and information to public May coordinate with other agencies to obtain and provide information to department and/or clients Accurate and timely data entry using computer software programs and data bases including Excel, Word, etc. Performs other related duties as requested
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to perform in a courteous, efficient, and professional manner at all times Ability to express oneself succinctly and professionally, both orally and in writing Proficiency in basic office equipment and computer software including Microsoft Office Suite; MUNIS experience or the ability to learn MUNIS Basic record keeping and bookkeeping principles and practices
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or GED or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.

Hourly Rate is $19.50 AFFILIATION Non-Bargaining Unit, Part-Time Position; 19.5 hours weekly
