Administrative Aide II Part-Time (20 Hours per Week) The Town of Windsor is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated individual to join the Human Resources Department as a part-time Administrative Aide. This position provides administrative and clerical support by performing a variety of tasks, including data entry, records management, customer service, accounts payable processing, and general office support. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Process Personnel Action Forms for new hires, employee pay increases and other status changes Process department's accounts payable invoices. Assist with the preparation and distribution of the quarterly employee newsletter. Perform general office duties, including filing, records management, running reports, correspondence with other departments, copying, scanning, faxing, and data entry. Answer telephone calls and respond to inquiries from employees and the general public in a professional and courteous manner. Provide administrative support for special projects and perform other related duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented office environment. Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing needs. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. The ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent and at least three (3) years of clerical or administrative experience, or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet applications. Experience with mail merge, database management, or similar software is desirable. Experience with MUNIS financial and/or human resources software is preferred. Successful completion of a background check and pre-employment drug screening, including marijuana screening.
Schedule and Compensation:
Schedule:
20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Afternoon availability is required. Minimum of four days which includes Mondays and Fridays.
Compensation:
$21.00-$22.00 per hour, depending on qualifications.
