Type:
full-time Our Chapter is seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant to support the Executive Committee and Sub Committees in serving its Chapter Members. A 1-year contract to serve, approximately 15 - 20 hours per month at a rate of $40 per hour, has been funded by an APA Chapter President's Council grant and budgeted for this position. The Administrative Service duties include, but are not limited to: Support the Meetings and Events Committee Delaware Planning Conference (Planning support, Sponsorship, Venue coordination, Day-of support, etc.) Site visit/walking tour coordination Identify and approach potential sponsors for our Chapter Conference and other Chapter efforts Assist the Management and Finance Committee Chapter Bylaws, Continuity Notebook, and other material updates Collaborate with the Communications Committee Website strategy development Social media strategy development Coordinate with the Membership Committee Site visit/walking tour coordination Determine best practices on hosting hybrid and remote events, and other assignments as needed. Identify strategies and pursue revenue sources to provide ongoing support the Administrative Assistant position
