Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and organized Front Office Assistant to join our Dental office team! In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming environment while efficiently managing administrative tasks. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help streamline clinic operations, support medical staff, and enhance patient experiences. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in medical administrative support within a fast-paced healthcare setting. Responsibilities Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing excellent customer service and clear directions Manage patient check-in and check-out processes using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Epic, Meditech, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks Schedule appointments accurately utilizing medical scheduling software and coordinate with clinical staff Verify insurance information, process payments, and handle medical billing in compliance with HIPAA regulations Maintain organized medical records, review documentation for accuracy, and ensure confidentiality of patient information Answer multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette, directing calls appropriately Assist with administrative duties such as filing, data entry (including 10 key typing), and managing office supplies Skills Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) for documentation and correspondence Prior Dental clinic or medical office experience with a focus on patient service and front desk operations Understanding of clinical confidentiality policies and healthcare regulations such as HIPAA Ability to multitask efficiently in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail Join our team to make a meaningful difference in patient care while advancing your career in Dental administration! Pay:
