Box Office Assistant for The Historic Cocoa Village Playhouse Qualifications High School Diploma Experience in customer service, retail, or box office operations preferred. Familiarity with ticketing systems; experience withPatronManager is a plus(training provided if needed). Communication and interpersonal skills. Basic computer proficiency and attention to detail. Manage cash and process transactions accurately. Available to work evenings and weekends as required by performance schedules. Position Summary The Box Office Assistant supports all ticketing and front-of-house operations for Playhouse productions, rentals, and special events. This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service, processing ticket sales, and maintaining accurate patron records. A key responsibility of this role is managing the theaters ticketing system,PatronManager, to ensure smooth and accurate box office operations. Responsibilities Process ticket sales, exchanges, and refunds in person, over the phone, and online usingPatronManager. Manage and update patron accounts, including contact information and purchase history. Assist patrons with seating selection, accessibility needs, and general inquiries. Operate the box office during performances, including opening and closing procedures. Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily sales reports. Generate and distribute ticketing reports as needed for staff and management. Assist with subscription sales, group bookings, and special promotions. Maintain organized box office records and ensure data accuracy in PatronManager. Provide friendly, professional customer service to all patrons. Support front-of-house operations during performances and special events as needed.
Compensation:
15.00 hourly
