Our mission is to connect people through the arts, fostering cultural diversity and transformation through engaging programming in music, visual arts, theatre, and arts education. Job Overview We are looking for a computer-savvy and independent individual with strong attention to detail. The ideal candidate will function well in a creative, fast-paced environment while also remaining productive and self-motivated during slower periods. Job Functions Perform administrative duties, including but not limited to scanning, filing, cutting checks, shredding, and handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Write thank-you letters for donors. Organize and scan historical documents. Complete additional tasks as requested by the CEO or Chief of Operations. Provide support to the Chief of Operations with various administrative and operational needs, including special projects, creating spreadsheets, occasional errands or pickups, and other tasks as needed. Qualifications Must work efficiently and independently in both a fast-paced environment and during slower periods. Administrative assistant or office experience strongly preferred. Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Must be computer-savvy, including experience using Gmail, Microsoft Office, ShareFile, and other cloud-based applications. Ability to work effectively under pressure. Must be willing to undergo fingerprinting. Must be independent, a fast learner, and highly detail-oriented and organized. The ability to maintain confidentiality is essential. Minimum of 5 years of experience in secretarial or administrative work. Three professional references are required. Must be a proactive, forward-thinking self-starter who can work independently, anticipate needs, take initiative, and think critically without needing to be directed through every task. The ideal candidate will know when to ask questions or seek clarification while also taking ownership and following through on responsibilities. Position Type/Expected Hours Position requires weekday availability. Approximately 20-25 hours per week.
