Description We are looking for a Project Assistant to support a one-day on-site marketing and print banner project in Jacksonville, Florida. This Contract position requires someone who can keep activities organized, coordinate schedules, and help ensure project tasks move forward efficiently throughout the day. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, handling administrative and project-related support, and communicating clearly with team members and vendors.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate on-site project activities to help keep the print banner and marketing assignment on schedule and running smoothly.
- Track milestones, timing, and day-of progress to support effective execution and timely completion of project tasks.
- Provide hands-on administrative support such as organizing materials, scanning documents, and maintaining accurate project records.
- Assist with scheduling and logistics for project-related tasks, including coordination with internal teams, vendors, or site contacts as needed.
- Support marketing-related project efforts by helping manage materials, visual assets, and communications tied to brand and community-facing initiatives.
- Contribute to project planning by helping prioritize action items, monitor deliverables, and address immediate support needs during the assignment.
- Document updates and communicate status information clearly so stakeholders remain informed throughout the engagement.
- Submit mileage-related information and supporting documentation for eligible reimbursement in accordance with project guidelines. Requirements
- Prior experience supporting projects in a coordination, assistant, or administrative capacity.
- Ability to manage timelines, stay organized, and handle multiple moving pieces within an on site, short-term assignment.
- Familiarity with project management practices and day-of execution support.
- Exposure to marketing environments such as brand, consumer, B2C, or community marketing is preferred.
- Comfortable performing tasks such as scanning, document handling, and general project administration.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills, including the ability to read, write, and conduct business conversations effectively.
- Proficiency with digital tools and the ability to support visual or media-related project needs, including digital photography or similar content support, is a plus.
