Job Description
Job Summary Naples Build is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Junior Construction Project Administrative Assistant to support our project and selections team. This is a hands-on administrative position for someone who enjoys organization, technology, problem-solving, and keeping multiple details moving at once. The role involves assisting with construction documentation, purchasing, material selections, permitting, vendor coordination, project records, and general administrative support. Previous construction experience is helpful, but we are equally interested in someone with strong administrative skills, a good work history, a willingness to learn, and a genuine interest in the construction industry. The right person will be comfortable taking direction, learning established systems, receiving feedback, and gradually taking on greater responsibility as their knowledge and abilities develop. Duties Maintain and organize project files, documents, spreadsheets, and correspondence Assist with material selections, purchasing, purchase tracking, and vendor follow-up Track pricing, lead times, deliveries, and outstanding project items Assist with permit applications, building documentation, and other construction-related paperwork Communicate professionally with vendors, subcontractors, building management, clients, and team members Prepare and update spreadsheets, project logs, correspondence, and other administrative documents Perform accurate data entry and maintain organized digital records Assist with proposals, change documentation, invoices, and project-related paperwork Help coordinate selections and purchasing activities with the project team Assist with QuickBooks or accounting-related administrative tasks as needed Learn and follow established company procedures and project-management systems Take on additional responsibilities as experience and knowledge grow Qualifications Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication skills Comfortable typing and working efficiently on a computer Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Excel, Windows, email, and general office software Ability to learn new software and systems quickly Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow through on details Dependable, punctual, and consistent Comfortable receiving direction and feedback and working as part of a team Interest in construction, remodeling, architecture, interior design, or project management Previous administrative or office experience preferred Experience with any of the following is a plus, but not required: Construction administration Permitting Purchasing Material selections Interior design or architecture Property management Project coordination QuickBooks Position Details Part-time In-person position in Naples, Florida Monday through Friday $20
