Job Summary We are seeking detail-oriented Clerical Support/Quality Assurance Specialists for a contract temporary opportunity in Fort Lauderdale, FL within a government and public sector office environment. This role is ideal for an administrative professional who enjoys reviewing records, validating data, supporting quality standards, and contributing to accurate, compliant operations during a high-volume election cycle. This position offers the opportunity to work in a structured, mission-focused environment with clear procedures, supportive supervision, and a collaborative team setting. The Clerical Support/Quality Assurance Specialist role is well suited for candidates who take pride in accuracy, confidentiality, reliability, and public service support. Key Responsibilities
  • Review records, documents, and data for completeness, accuracy, consistency, and compliance with established procedures.
  • Perform clerical and administrative support duties, including document organization, file maintenance, data entry, and record updates.
  • Identify discrepancies, document findings, and refer issues requiring correction or additional review to designated supervisory staff.
  • Verify, reconcile, and validate information using agency systems, written procedures, and quality standards.
  • Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and accuracy when handling voter information and official records.
  • Support a high-volume, deadline-driven office environment while working independently and collaboratively with the team. Compensation and Benefits
  • Pay rate: $20.00 per hour.
  • Job type: Contract/temporary.
  • Location:
    Fort Lauderdale, FL.
  • Assignment start date: As soon as the selected candidate completes all required screening and clearance requirements and Human Resources confirms the start date.
  • Assignment end date: November 9, 2026.
  • Regular schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Extended schedule: May include extended hours and extended workdays, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as operationally required during the election cycle.
  • Work environment: Business casual office environment. Required Qualifications and Skills
  • Review records, documents, and data for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and procedural compliance.
  • Perform clerical support, data entry, file maintenance, document organization, and records review duties.
  • Verify, reconcile, and validate information using established procedures and agency systems.
  • Identify discrepancies, document findings, and escalate issues requiring supervisory review or correction.
  • 2 to 5 years of relevant clerical, administrative support, records review, quality assurance, or data entry experience in an office environment.
  • Must be available to work the entire temporary assignment from the Human Resources scheduled start date through November 9, 2026, without planned interruptions in availability.
  • Must be available to work extended hours and extended workdays, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as operationally required during the election cycle.
  • Ability to type a minimum of 50 words per minute.
  • Intermediate computer proficiency, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, web-based applications, and accurate data entry.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain productivity in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to follow written procedures, quality standards, and work instructions while maintaining consistent accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and accuracy when handling voter information and official records.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Must be punctual, reliable, and able to maintain regular attendance throughout the assignment.
  • Must successfully complete and clear the required criminal background screening and drug screening before beginning the assignment. Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in clerical support, quality assurance, records management, document review, elections, government, or public-sector office operations.
  • Experience reviewing or auditing records for accuracy and completeness in a high-volume environment.
