Three years of administrative experience are required. Additional administrative experience may substitute for the required college education on a year for year basis. Recruitment Notes Miami-Dade Aviation Department seeks an organized, analytical Special Projects Administrator 1 to support the Operations and Facilities Division at Miami International Airport. The role coordinates committee activities, maintains project documentation, supports airport-wide maintenance assessments, and helps track tenant construction and compliance. It also updates CIP and facility maintenance tracking systems, prepares reports and presentations, monitors milestone progress, and keeps communication flowing among Planning, Engineering, Maintenance, Finance, Procurement, tenants, consultants, and contractors to ensure accurate data and aligned facility improvements. Additionally, the position provides administrative support to the Deputy Director, including calendar coordination, call routing, meeting logistics, and file maintenance. Airport Security Applicants qualifying for employment with the Miami-Dade Aviation Department will be subject to extensive security screening, including but not limited to fingerprint checks, employment verification, and other such procedures as may be mandated by federal law. The security clearance required by federal law is a continuing condition of employment.
