SALARY ENTRY
Min $115,139.65 - Max $191,383.42 Annually The Chief of Policy, Legislative and Business Affairs is a highly responsible executive-level position that provides strategic leadership and oversight of departmental policy, legislative, and business-related activities. The position coordinates and advances legislative matters, develops and evaluates administrative and legislative policies, reviews complex procurement and contractual matters, and assesses potential operational, financial, and regulatory impacts affecting the department. The incumbent serves as a key liaison with County leadership, elected officials, departments, legal counsel, procurement, finance, vendors, and other stakeholders. The position provides guidance to departmental leadership, manages multiple high-priority initiatives, and exercises considerable independent judgment to ensure matters are effectively coordinated, compliant with County policies and procedures, and aligned with departmental and Countywide objectives.
Minimum Qualifications:
