This position is ideal for someone with strong communication and interpersonal skills who is eager to learn, solve problems, and grow within the organization. Responsibilities Greet customers, vendors, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner. Answer and direct incoming telephone calls clearly and courteously. Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, management, and outside vendors. Receive, sort, and distribute mail, packages, and deliveries. Monitor and restock office supplies, kitchen supplies, and toiletries. Maintain organized supply areas, shared spaces, and administrative records. Run local errands, including trips to the Post Office, bank, stores, and restaurants. Assist with copying, scanning, filing, data entry, and document organization. Create, update, and maintain spreadsheets, documents, electronic files, and business records. Provide general administrative support to management and other departments. Learn how the organization's different companies, departments, systems, and business processes operate. Adjust priorities and responsibilities as business needs change Look for practical and creative ways to improve organization, communication, and office processes. Assist with additional office, customer service, or accounting-related tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND DESIRED SKILLS
High school diploma or equivalent. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Friendly, professional, and effective interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities. Adaptable and flexible when handling new responsibilities or unexpected situations. Good problem-solving, critical-thinking, and decision-making abilities. Willingness to take initiative and think outside the box. Strong computer skills and confidence working with technology. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, including creating and maintaining documents and spreadsheets. Ability to navigate multiple software programs, electronic filing systems, and web-based business applications. Ability to learn new accounting, customer-management, and business software quickly. Strong typing and accurate data-entry skills. Dependable attendance and reliable transportation. Ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a team. Ability to handle confidential information appropriately. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
