Job Description
Job Summary We are a busy plastic surgery practice and surgical facility seeking a full-time Front Office Associate to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, professional, and comfortable communicating with patients throughout their surgical and aesthetic journey. The Front Office Associate plays an important role in the day-to-day operations of the practice, including patient scheduling and communication, payment collection, surgical coordination support, medical documentation follow-up, and maintaining an organized and welcoming office environment. Experience in a plastic surgery, cosmetic surgery, medical, or aesthetic practice is preferred, but we are willing to consider candidates with strong administrative and customer-service experience who are eager to learn. Key Responsibilities Schedule and confirm consultations, surgeries, follow-up visits, and in-office procedures. Assist patients with check-out, collect payments, provide receipts, and prepare procedure/surgical quotes. Communicate with patients by phone and email regarding appointments, surgery information, lab requirements, and general inquiries. Track pre-surgical lab results and required documentation, following up on outstanding items as needed. Prepare surgical charts, consent forms, prescriptions, lab orders, and patient surgery information. Maintain accurate and organized patient records, including filing and scanning documentation. Assist with incoming calls, patient reception, and front desk coverage as needed. Maintain an organized, stocked, and professional office and patient-care environment. Support the Office Manager and team with additional administrative duties as needed.
