Job Description
Job Summary The Operations Administrative Assistant provides a broad range of administrative support functions to the site's plant leadership. Typical hours are Monday - Friday, 7am - 4pm, subject to overtime as needed. There is no expected travel for this role.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Greeting and assisting visitors. Provides clerical support, such as taking meeting notes, assistance in scanning and copying, reception, etc. Serves as a primary point of contact for office communications. Prioritizes, composes, and disseminates information to internal and external customers. Responds to inquiries. Schedules plant tours and corresponding activities Coordinates, maintains, and creates various events, schedules, and calendars. Coordinates large group meetings as needed. Assists with reporting for EHS and COS functions. Purchases and initiates payments for office supplies, cafeteria supplies, equipment, and services. Partners with Operations Manager and the local HR Business Partner on employee recognition and engagement activities. Participates in site's engagement committee and maintains engagement calendar. Models and promotes strong teamwork. Works with the Operations and Safety departments as needed. Participates in special projects. Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned RequiredKnowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - both written and verbal. Able to exercise high level of discretion and autonomy in completing tasks. Able to problem solve and prioritize by urgency. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with ability to quickly learn specialized software to complete work assignments. Systems data entry experience preferred.Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent Preferred:
Associate's degree 1 - 3 years of experience of working in an administrative environment preferred.Working Conditions:
