Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician Lead to oversee maintenance operations within a manufacturing facility. This leadership role involves managing a team of technicians, ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of industrial equipment, and implementing preventative maintenance strategies. The ideal candidate will possess extensive technical expertise in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems, along with strong troubleshooting abilities. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate maintenance activities across the manufacturing facility, ensuring timely resolution of equipment issues Supervise and mentor maintenance technicians, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) Diagnose complex electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system failures using schematics and technical manuals Perform equipment troubleshooting and repairs involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical systems, HVAC/R systems, and welding processes Conduct electrical diagnostics using voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and other precision measuring instruments Read electrical blueprints and schematics to facilitate accurate repairs and modifications Oversee equipment troubleshooting procedures to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency Maintain compliance with safety standards by adhering to industry regulations related to electrical maintenance, welding, and machinery operation Collaborate with engineering teams on troubleshooting initiatives and equipment upgrades to enhance operational performance Skills Extensive experience working in manufacturing facilities with a solid understanding of industrial maintenance practices Proficiency in CMMS software for work order management and maintenance tracking Strong knowledge of HVAC/R systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical components Skilled in electrical diagnostics, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and troubleshooting electrical systems Hands-on experience with stick welding, welding techniques, and equipment repair Ability to operate scissor lifts safely for equipment access or repairs at elevated heights Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), engineering troubleshooting methods, and automation systems Competence in using precision measuring instruments such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters for accurate diagnostics Excellent analysis skills combined with customer service orientation for effective communication with internal teams Demonstrated leadership capabilities with the ability to supervise technicians while fostering teamwork Strong understanding of industrial mechanics combined with electrical experience for comprehensive maintenance solutions This role is ideal for a proactive leader committed to maintaining high standards of safety and operational efficiency within a dynamic manufacturing environment.
