Job Summary The purpose of this position is to establish and maintain effective, compliant management of the Austell Police Department's records systems, ensuring the accuracy, security, and lawful handling of criminal justice information while serving as the department's designated Terminal Agency Coordinator (TAC) responsible for
GCIC/NCIC
compliance. The scope of this position covers all records management functions within the Records Division, including intake, storage, retention, redaction, release, and destruction of police records; oversight of
GCIC/NCIC
audits, warrant procedures, and system access; and coordination with the City Attorney, District Attorney's Office, Department of Justice, and courts on records-related matters. This scope extends department-wide to all sworn and civilian personnel who access, generate, or handle department records, including responsibility for training staff on proper records handling and system use. Essential Qualifications • Possession of a valid Georgia Class C Driver's License. • Terminal Agency Coordinator Certification (TAC).
Pay:
$40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
