Job Description

Compensation:
Based on experience immediate opening for the right candidate must live within 20 minutes away from clinic Job .
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE FOR MEDICAL OFFICE FRONT DESK FOR AT LEAST 2 YEARS. ONLY PERSON WITH MEDICAL EXPERIENCE WILL BE CONSIDERED. INCLUDE WHICH EMR YOU HAVE WORKED WITH.
Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and manage check-in/check-out procedures with professionalism and efficiency Schedule appointments using medical scheduling software, ensuring optimal clinic flow Verify patient insurance coverage, including Medicare and health insurance policies, and assist with billing processes such as medical collection and coding Review and update medical records in EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems to ensure accuracy and compliance with HIPAA regulations Handle phone communication with patients, providers, and insurance companies, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills Assist with documentation review, CPT coding, ICD-9/10 coding, and ensure proper documentation of care plans in accordance with clinical confidentiality policies Maintain a clean, organized front office environment by managing filing systems, medical records, and office supplies Requirements Proven experience in a medical office setting or clinic environment with strong clerical support skills Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems EMA is highly preferred Knowledge of health insurance processes including Medicare billing and health information management Ability to perform medical billing tasks including CPT coding, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), and documentation review Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and 10-key typing Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and clinical confidentiality policies Bilingual abilities are a plus to effectively serve diverse patient populations Previous experience in MEDICAL clinics or healthcare administrative roles Exceptional customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette and effective communication abilities Join our team as a Front Office Medical Assistant where your enthusiasm for healthcare administration will make a meaningful difference!
