Job Description
Description We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to support the Human Resources team with a wide range of daily administrative tasks in Marietta, Georgia. This Contract position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing both paper and electronic records in a non-profit environment. The role will help keep documentation accurate, accessible, and well maintained while assisting coworkers with file and document requests.
Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR team to help maintain smooth office operations.
- Scan, digitize, and organize records to improve document access and retention.
- Maintain filing systems by updating, labeling, and storing paper and electronic documents accurately.
- Build and update databases to ensure employee and departmental information remains current and easy to retrieve.
- Sort and place records in the correct physical or digital locations to preserve an orderly file structure.
- Prepare and assemble documents and files needed by coworkers for reporting, review, and general business use.
- Assist with clinic-related coordination and administrative tasks as needed.
- Perform routine document handling activities Monday through Friday during scheduled business hours. Requirements
- Experience providing administrative support in an office or human resources setting.
- Working knowledge of filing practices, document control, and records organization.
- Ability to scan, index, and manage both digital and paper-based files with accuracy.
- Proficiency in maintaining databases and updating information consistently.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage repetitive tasks efficiently.
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach to supporting team needs.
- Comfort working in a structured Monday through Friday schedule.
- Background in administrative assistance or HR administration is preferred.
