Resource Coordinator Tech

Position Summary Under the general supervision of the Manager of the unit, the Resource Coordinator Tech is responsible for facilitating, coordinating in conjunction with health care teams, staffing, supplies/equipment, and patient flow/scheduling as a charge agent. Develop, motivate, assess, and negotiate as a charge agent in an effort to enhance organizational effectiveness. The Resource Coordinator Tech assists in coordination and delivery of patient care in the surgical suite to care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients based on current standards of practice. Willingly performs assigned role as directed by Manager. The Resource Coordinator Tech promotes collaboration and acts as a liaison between all members of the multi-disciplinary health care team, and actively participates in unit and system wide committees. Demonstrates strong preceptor and mentoring skills. In addition to providing patient care by performing surgical scrubbing tasks and assisting the RN with circulating duties, the Resource Coordinator Tech maintains supply levels within the specialty and assists the Manager in the overall function of the service line. Provides courteous customer services to personnel utilizing the services of this department. Maintains open communication and is available to component organizations and practitioner sites for consultation. Education High School Diploma

• Preferred Experience 3-5 Years Certified Surgical Technologist
• Required 1-2 Years Lead Technologist
• Required License & Certification Professional Certification
• Required Basic Life Support (BLS)
