Reporting to the Vice President for Advancement, the Advancement Services Coordinator manages gifts that support Point University's annual fund, scholarships, and other funding campaigns. The service coordinator is part of the advancement team and must work with the team on various tasks. Must be able to anticipate project needs, discern work priorities, meet deadlines, provide outstanding customer service, and build lasting relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Essential Duties Raiser's Edge (The University's constituent relationship management system) Work with the advancement team to identify and support ways to expand fundraising efforts that result in increased revenue for the University. Monitor and communicate progress and results. Serve as the primary contact for Raiser's Edge, which includes the maintenance and sharing of information with the advancement team and needed departments. Oversee and perform all data gift entry into Raiser's Edge. Support the prospect research efforts of the annual fund and other funding campaigns. Manage requests by others in the advancement department, specifically alumni and church. relations as needed, which includes updating constituent records. Work with the registrar's office to import graduate records in Raiser's Edge. Support the work of the endowed scholarship committee by maintaining and querying contact information. Provide analytical and statistical reports as needed by the advancement team. Complete monthly gift reconciliation in coordination with the business office. Generate monthly gift receipts and tribute acknowledgement letters for donors. Produce annual donor tax documentation, which includes letters and statements. Additional duties as assigned. Event Planning Coordinate all planning details for advancement-related events, which include but are not limited to building and managing event registration forms. Attend advancement-related events. Additional duties as assigned. Administrative Management Assist in budget reporting, analysis, and preparation. Work with the president's assistant and vice president of advancement to respond to donor inquiries via email and phone calls. Provide administrative assistance, as needed, for the vice president of advancement and other roles within the department. Additional duties as assigned. Requirements Bachelor's degree. Experienced in database management, research, and analysis. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially MS Excel, and proficiency with Internet research. Preferred Qualifications Two years of Raiser's Edge experience preferred. General knowledge of higher education and advancement practices.
