Hyundai Glovis Georgia, is an integrated logistics company located in West Point, Georgia. We provide Tier 1 logistic, warehousing and inventory services to Kia Motors Manufacturing. We currently have an opening for an Experienced Inventory Manager.

RESPONSIBLITIES INCLUDE

Manage the inventory department to ensure the integrity of the physical inventory within facility as well as ensure that the standardization of our inventory management systems. Provides direction to Inventory Assistant Managers and Inventory Specialists at all Consolidation Centers. Analyzes and monitors the financial and operational impact of inventory adjustments & discrepancies including OS&D claims. Lead cross functional teams to coordinate the activities of inventory control within facility. System Data Management - Manage

SAP, GCS, JIS

Inventory Operations and System Improvement activities. Manage New Vehicle Projects Tracking, Reporting and Creating Countermeasures for issues and improvement plans In-depth monitoring and analysis of inventory movement and patterns within inventory computer systems. Provide direction for systems improvements and changes to operations procedures to maximize efficiency concerning movement of inventory. Work very closely with external customers regarding inventory levels, concerns, and resolutions. Work closely with other managers and departments within the company to support overall group and improvement operations. Create logistics plans and implementation schedules for New Business Assist COO & Expats with projects as needed Create and maintain SOP's and documentation for Inventory Processes and Procedures

MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

4 Year Business Degree and 3-5 years full-time working experience in an Inventory Management role (preferably in an automotive or manufacturing environment). Requires the ability to handle sensitive issues with a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism. Ability to work with employees within all levels of company Requires effective oral, written communication and computer skills (excel, word, power point, SAP etc.). Must be able to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner. Be able to plan work activities, use time wisely and develop realistic action plans. Must be able to adapt to changes in the work environment and handle complicated issues. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of other Microsoft Office programs such as Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Must be able to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment. Needs to have strong multi-tasking abilities. Hyundai Glovis offers a competitive benefits and compensation package.
