JOB SUMMARY
The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to the Program Director and other employees as assigned by managing a variety of organizational tasks. Ensures administrative tasks are efficiently and effectively implemented. Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritize a diverse workload.
EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE A
high school diploma or equivalent is required. One year of administrative experience preferred Must have the ability to analyze and use data Experience in serving a wide range of socio-economic backgrounds preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Understands, believes in, and adopts Optimae LifeServices' Mission, Vision, and Core Values Greets the public in person and on the phone in a polite and professional manner, providing general information, answering questions, and directing people to appropriate staff Processes and distributes confidential and sensitive information Maintains privacy in all aspects of the job Operates a variety of office equipment including, but not limited to personal computers, copy/fax, and calculators Performs job in compliance with agency policies and procedures as well as community and professional standards Answers phone as required, receives messages, and returns messages as appropriate Handle and sort mail Order and replenish supplies as needed Organizes files and prepares documents Coordinates meetings and conferences Maintain OSHA logs. Other duties as assigned.
