Job Description

Our company is searching for an energetic, self-motivated team player to join our team.
Requirements:
18 years of age or older, high school diploma or equivalent, ability to pass a criminal background check with the department of health and welfare, applicable computer, and office equipment knowledge to operate basic functioning for document preparation and transmission. Ability to manage basic office equipment, utilizes basic computer programs, good communication skills, ability to read, write and do basic math.
Scope of Duties:
Maintains calendars, schedules appointments and meetings, sorts and routes incoming mail, scanning, uploading, faxing, and printing multiple documents. Answers inquiries and obtains information for customers, public and staff in an expedient, professional and courteous manner. Obtain Prior authorizations from insurance companies as directed for service implementation. Enter/manage blanket authorizations for applicable services Monitoring and tracking insurance eligibility for department clients. Assist owners, director, team leads and other administrative staff in special projects, completed per discussion and agreement with assigning body. Provide assistance and coverage for clinic administrative staff as requested and approved. Work with other administrative and professional employees to ensure a smooth continuum of service delivery to clients. Coordinate the transfer of all necessary information to ensure that all departments receive current and accurate documents to ensure that records are maintained according to company policy, and all federal and state requirements. Assist with the development of procedural documentation to outline the scope and capacity of the Administrative Specialist requirements. Monitor and track Community based service functions within the database to track that client chart paperwork follows insurance guidelines and/or notify appropriate parties when this is not followed. Maintain the service environment to ensure that it is a positive experience for the clients and that staff is able to utilize the environment in a professional and effective manner. Maintain all records and communications in compliance federal and state privacy requirements. Other duties as assigned. $16-$18 Benefits available after 90 days and full-time
