Administrative Assistant - Central Office Kensington School is seeking an experienced and personable Administrative Assistant to join our office team in Burr Ridge. Our Home Office is made up of several departments that work together to support our 16 school locations. The Administrative Assistant will provide general administrative and secretarial support across the Home Office, with a focus on assisting our Purchasing, Accounts Payable, and Executive teams , along with other departments as needed. This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, dependable, professional, and enjoys being part of a collaborative team. Responsibilities Provide general administrative and secretarial support to several departments Assist the Purchasing, Accounts Payable, HR and Executive teams with daily administrative needs Maintain organized files, records, and office materials Assist with correspondence, data entry, scheduling, and other general office tasks Communicate professionally and courteously with school leadership, vendors, and families Help maintain an organized, efficient, and welcoming office environment Requirements Positive attitude and personable, professional demeanor Excellent time management and prioritization skills General knowledge of administrative and office procedures Strong written and verbal communication skills Friendly, approachable, and team-oriented personality Ability to stay organized, multitask, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and follow-through Proficiency with Microsoft Office Previous administrative or office experience preferred Full time employees have access to a comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401K, PTO, and paid CPR/First Aid training.
