This role plays a critical part in managing and maintaining Driver Qualification (DQ) files, coordinating pre-employment and ongoing background checks, and ensuring all related documentation is accurate and up to date in accordance with federal and company standards. Additionally, the Administrative Assistant - Rosenbach Freight serves as the Liaison between Rosenbach Freight and Bath Concepts for general HR related questions and concerns, escalating issues when necessary and helping maintain a positive and compliant workplace environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time. Maintain driver route receipts and any other driver submitted paperwork. Serve as point of contact with customers to schedule deliveries. Maintain and audit Driver Qualification (DQ) files to ensure compliance with
DOT/FMCSA
regulations. Coordinate and track background checks, MVRs, pre-employment drug screenings, and other DOT-required documents Ensure timely and accurate processing of new hire onboarding, including CDL verification and document collection Act as the HR contact for employee questions related to policies, procedures and workplace issues Support internal audits and external inspections by preparing and organizing the required documentation. Partner with freight team to ensure all drivers meet qualification standards. Assist with updates to HR records, policy documentation, and compliance tracking systems. Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree is preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience in Human Resources preferred. Experience with DOT compliance is preferred. Multilingual preferred (Arabic or Spanish) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software (Excel, Word, etc.). Experience with Paylocity is preferred.
