Job Description

Office Assistant - Shop Office / Operations Support We're looking for a reliable, hard-working Office Assistant to help keep our shop and office running smoothly day to day. This role is perfect for someone who's organized, good with people, and comfortable working in a hands-on work environment. You'll support the office team, help drivers/crew/customers as needed, and handle the daily paperwork and communication that keeps operations moving. This is a paid position with opportunities to grow your skills and become an important part of a hardworking team. Responsibilities Answer phones, greet customers, vendors, drivers, and crew members in a friendly and professional manner Handle front office duties including filing paperwork, organizing documents, and keeping the office clean and organized Enter invoices, work orders, delivery tickets, and other information accurately into company systems Assist with scheduling jobs, appointments, deliveries, and service calls Support daily operations by communicating with field staff, warehouse/shop crews, and customers Maintain office supplies and help keep the shop office stocked and running efficiently Assist with data tracking, reporting, and record management using Microsoft Access and other office software Help manage emails, paperwork, and other day-to-day administrative tasks Provide strong customer service both over the phone and in person Support the team wherever needed to help operations stay on track during busier seasonal periods Qualifications Previous office, dispatch, receptionist, clerical, or shop office experience preferred Comfortable working in a blue-collar, industrial, construction, warehouse, transportation, or service-based environment Strong communication and organizational skills Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, specifically Excel Experience with Microsoft Access preferred Ability to stay organized and handle multiple tasks when needed Good phone etiquette and customer service skills Strong attention to detail with paperwork and data entry Bilingual skills are a plus Experience with scheduling, dispatching, invoicing, or database management is helpful but not required Dependable, team-oriented, and willing to jump in where needed What We're Looking For We want someone dependable, positive, and ready to be part of a hardworking team. Our workload can vary depending on the season, with some busy periods and some slower stretches, so we're looking for someone who can stay productive, organized, and flexible throughout the year.
Pay:
$25,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
