Description:
Guest Services Coordinator - Part Time We're looking for a friendly, organized Guest Services Coordinator to oversee and coordinate Guest Services for the Prairie Activity & Recreation Center (PARC) including staffing, training, and registration processes. Supports the recreation department as assigned. Benefits of the position include participation in the IMRF pension plan, 20 hours vacation time after one year of employment, 3 paid holidays, and a free gym membership. Hours typically 8:30am-12:30pm M-F, but nights and weekends as needed.
Pay Rate:
20.50 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinates and facilitates training for guest services staff. Assist with establishing and maintaining customer service standards. Ensures guest services staff completes clerical and registration functions according to park district guidelines and expectations. Oversees functional use of RecTrac and WebTrac systems, ensuring efficient utilization, adherence to best practices, and accurate recordkeeping Covers Guest services desk on a regular basis, including nights and weekends as necessary. Promptly addresses patron inquiries and concerns with professionalism and efficiency, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
High school diploma. Must be at least 18 yrs. of age. Candidate must be dependable and able to possess good judgment in difficult situations. Must have strong interpersonal skills and work well with the public and other staff. C.P.R., AED, and First Aid Certification required; or ability to obtain within three (3) months of hire date. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Microsoft Office knowledge; Experience with Rectrac is preferred
