  • 5:00 PM | On-Site Outpatient Services | Quincy, IL Make an Impact Behind the Scenes Are you highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping others access care?
Join our Outpatient team as an Assessment Administrative Assistant , where you'll play a vital role in supporting individuals seeking behavioral health services. In this position, you'll be the central point of communication for assessment coordination, helping ensure clients, referral sources, and care teams stay connected throughout the assessment process. Your work will directly contribute to timely access to care and a positive experience for those we serve.

  • healthcare and dependent child-care Health & Wellness Program Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Employee Discount Program Mileage Reimbursement ( When applicable ) What You'll Do As an Assessment Administrative Assistant, you will: Serve as a primary contact for referral sources, clients, collateral contacts, and internal departments Coordinate communication and follow-up activities related to assessments and referrals Prepare assessment verification letters and other client correspondence Track and obtain required documentation to support timely assessment completion Collaborate with the Health Information Management (HIM) team regarding records requests and sharing Conduct outreach to scheduled clients to improve appointment attendance and engagement Enter assessment information and documentation accurately into systems and records Assist with walk-in assessment paperwork and administrative processes Coordinate scheduling support and contingency plans during periods of high assessment volume Support clinicians and assessment staff with administrative tasks to ensure efficient service delivery What Makes You a Great Fit We're looking for someone who is: Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities Comfortable working independently while also collaborating with a team A strong communicator who enjoys helping people and solving problems Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer-based systems Able to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in a healthcare environment Qualifications Education Associate's degree required Experience Minimum six months to one year of administrative, customer service, healthcare support, or related experience required
