Lake Park High School is currently hiring for the 12-month position of Administrative Assistant to the Assistant Superintendent for Business Services, as detailed below.

QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent; postsecondary education preferred Minimum of three years of related administrative experience preferred; school district, governmental, or public-sector experience preferred Proficient with PCs, tablets, and other mobile electronic devices Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Apps, and cloud-based applications Familiar with financial systems, data management systems, and analysis Notary Public certification or willingness to obtain Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, including project management experience Demonstrated aptitude for the work to be performed Effective interpersonal skills and written and oral communication skills Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service Strong work ethic Ability to maintain confidentiality Ability to work positively and productively with adults and high school-age students
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Administrative Assistant to the Assistant Superintendent for Business Services
SALARY/RATE
Hourly range of $22.66 to $24.85, based on relevant experience and level of education per the ESP Salary Schedule Appendix B (Administrative Assistants) in the District 108 Negotiated Agreement. This is a benefits-eligible position that includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, as well as participation in the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF).
