Job Description

Commodore Homes LLC, a division of Cavco Industries, is one of the largest builders of modular and manufactured homes throughout the northeast, mid-Atlantic, and Midwest markets. Our modular homes are constructed to individual state and local building codes, and represent a smart, rapidly growing alternative to local 'site built' homes. Combining broad customization, better construction technology, and less waste, our modular homes generally cost less than a comparable 'site-built' home. We take pride in our long-standing stable workforce, that represents skilled crafts people dedicated to building homes. We are hiring drafters with experience in AutoCAD and/or a background in housing construction. However, we will train motivated individuals who have no prior experience but possess the ability to evolve alongside a progressive industry.
Responsibilities:
Create and revise detailed drawings for: Literatures, Permits, Production Packages / Working Drawings Review work to ensure accuracy and completeness Meet deadlines to reduce bottlenecks and maintain a smooth workflow
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required. College degree in related field preferred but not required Must be proficient with computers, communication and problem solving skills Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs Ability to work in teams and attention to detail
