Job Description Center for Sight is seeking a full time Administrative Assistant to join our team! Center for Sight is a comprehensive Ophthalmology practice that focuses on patient care with the most advanced eye care technology. This addition to our team must be reliable, professional, and able to work in a fast-paced professional office. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Welcome patients in a friendly professional manner Enter detailed patient data - both demographic and insurance Schedule/cancel/reschedule patients in person and over the phone Triage incoming phone calls and directing those calls accordingly Assist patients with check/in and check out Enter charges, collect co-pays, and patient balances accurately on a daily basis Perform all other office tasks
Qualifications:
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills Previous experience in office administration or other related fields Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Knowledge of ICD 10 and CPT coding
Requirements:
High School graduate or equivalent Minimum experience of 2 years working medical environment Punctual Reliable Detail oriented Possess cooperative team approach
