PRIMARY FUNCTION
The Program Support Specialist provides administrative support to technical staff, programs, and internal and external customers, performing a variety of both complex and routine regulatory and analytical duties.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Interface with all stakeholders to prioritize impending requirements Prepare various program documents and correspondence, including project authorizations, action memos and IMS reconciliations, ensuring all documentation is in compliance with regulations and standards Research, plan, analyze, and organize technical and/or statistical information; assemble data for use in briefings, reports, and formal presentations Collect and compile data for use in regular and ad hoc reporting on the status of programs Communicate and control all inventory, PPE configurations and materiel movements for successful program operation Monitor and execute program plans, provide status reports, and gather "lessons learned" information Coordinate, track and expedite CONUS and OCONUS shipments to multiple locations Maintain various integrated logistics support data system records, ensuring timely and accurate documentation of all materiel movements Assist technical staff with materiel budgets Maintain standard operating procedures, provide feedback on necessary updates and assist with implementation of updates as necessary Assist in resolution of non-conforming materielSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position will not have direct reportsKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
Ability to safeguard all government property/facilities and provide adequate resource protection to prevent contamination, pilferage, sabotage, and accidental damage, including controller used controlled forms. Must have excellent verbal communication and customer service skills, as well as clear, effective technical writing ability. Must not pose a potential threat to the health, safety, security and general wellbeing or operational mission of the installation and its population. Present a neat, clean, and professional appearance always, unless precluded by assigned work. Demonstrable experience as a self-starter who takes initiative in problem resolution, and follow-through for non-routine issues Ability to interact with all levels of organization, including internal/external customers, and senior level managementQUALIFICATIONS
Associate degree or higher in a related field or 2+ years previous experience. Advanced computer skills, to include Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and OneNote Knowledge of Military (DoD) Logistics, Maintenance, and Supply processes and procedures preferred Experience with warehouse supply chain/logistics support preferred Must be able to pass a drug test, and have, or be able to obtain, a DoD National Agency Check Investigation (NACI) Interim Secret Security Clearance within 90 days from date of hire.PREFERENCE STATEMENT
