Job Description

Job description: The Arts Council of Central Louisiana (ACCL) is currently seeking the qualified candidate to fill our Booking Manager / Admin Assistant position. This is a full-time on-site role located in Alexandria, LA. The Booking Manager / Admin Assistant will be responsible for managing schedules, booking and coordination of events and performances, assisting with creating programs and program materials, handling customer inquiries, and maintaining records and files including work within QuickBooks. The Booking Manager / Admin Assistant will also work with other staff to ensure smooth operations and timely communications with performers, partners, and other stakeholders. Qualifications Experience in a business administrative role, arts or a related field a plus Excellent organizational, planning, and coordination skills Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail Experience with event planning, scheduling, and coordination Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office and Google Suite Ability to work independently and as part of a team while managing multiple priorities. Customer service and marketing experience is a plus This position requires the ability to work special events/performances that will occasionally involve nights and weekends. Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite required. This position works closely other ACCL staff and reports to the Executive Director. Compensation includes salary commensurate with experience, plus optional health coverage.
