Member Services Coordinator (Sponsorship & Executive Support)

Full-Time Position Overview The North Shore Chamber of Commerce is seeking a highly organized, polished and proactive professional to serve as our Member Services Coordinator—a critical role at the center of our organization. This individual will function as both an executive support partner and a key driver of non-dues revenue through sponsorship sales for the Chamber's events, including the Annual Dinner, Business Expo, Veterans Breakfast, and other signature events and programs. This is not a passive administrative role. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, responsive and service-minded, while also confident in outreach, relationship-building, and closing sponsorship opportunities. This position plays a direct role in delivering exceptional member experience and advancing the Chamber's growth and impact. Reporting Relationship This position reports directly to the President & CEO and works closely with the Membership Manager, Events Manager and other team members. Key Responsibilities Sponsorship Sales & Revenue Generation Lead outreach efforts to secure sponsorships for all Chamber events and programs Identify, cultivate and maintain relationships with existing and prospective sponsors Confidently present sponsorship opportunities, communicate value, and close sales Track sponsorship pipeline, commitments, and fulfillment in coordination with the events team Support development of sponsorship materials and proposals Executive & Team Support Provide high-level administrative and organizational support to the President & CEO and other team members Manage scheduling, communications, and follow-up on key initiatives Serve as a central point of coordination across membership, events, and leadership functions Operations & Administration Maintain and update membership database and internal systems Support reporting and tracking related to membership, sponsorship and engagement metrics Contribute to special projects and organizational initiatives as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or related field preferred 2+ years of professional experience in administration, sales, customer service, or a related field Experience with sales, sponsorships, or client relationship management strongly preferred Familiarity with the North Shore business community is a plus Skills & Competencies Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional, polished presence Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Confidence in outreach, relationship-building, and closing opportunities Strong customer service mindset with a commitment to member satisfaction Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and database/CRM systems Experience with Canva or basic design tool Why This Role Matters This position sits at the intersection of member experience, revenue generation, and organizational effectiveness. The right candidate will not only keep the team operating smoothly but will also play a meaningful role in driving the success of the Chamber's most visible and impactful programs and events. Schedule & Compensation This is a full-time hourly role, in the office, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Base hourly compensation equates to $50,000 - $60,000 annually commensurate with experience, plus performance-based bonuses of $10,000+ for top performers.
