We're looking for a detail-oriented administrative assistant to keep our office running and our projects moving. No experience required. We'll train you. What matters more to us is that you're organized, dependable, and comfortable juggling a few things at once. This is a chance to learn a specialized side of the construction industry — environmental compliance and permitting — that very few admins ever get exposure to. We'll train you into the permitting and compliance side over your first few months. Compensation Starting pay is $18.00 per hour. Candidates with prior office administration, bookkeeping, or construction/trades office experience may start higher, up to $24.00 per hour. What we're looking for Reliable — you show up when you say you will, and the office can count on you Punctual — you're on time for your shift and you hit deadlines on paperwork and filings Detail-oriented — in this industry, paperwork accuracy genuinely matters Coachable — willing to learn regulatory requirements and take direction Flexible — roughly 20 hours per week with some variation based on workload Works well with a small team Comfortable with basic computer work (email, spreadsheets, data entry) Reliable transportation to our East Longmeadow office Why Abide We're a growing company, and this position has real potential to become full-time as our volume increases. The right person will pick up skills — environmental compliance, permitting, construction billing — that transfer well and are in demand.
