Job Description

Administrative Office Assistant for Law/Appraisal Office Durkin Valuation Consultants. Inc., & Durkin Law www.durkinvaluationconsultants and www.durkinlawpc.com

PAY:

Starting $35/hr / free parking / no benefits

Shift & Schedule:

30 hours [No Weekends or Holidays] 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday No benefits. This is a part-time position paid at an hourly rate.

Company Description:

We are a two-tiered company that provides legal as well as litigation-related valuation/appraisal services. Much of our work focuses on legal disputes. Our cases are interesting and challenging. Job Description Ideal candidate for this position is an enthusiastic, highly organized, self-starter who is able and willing to create and maintain effective workflows, effectively track multiple issues, and assist a small team of professionals in managing their client base effectively and efficiently from initial consults to the completion of their cases.

Essential Functions:

Ø Acts as the project manager for the Law Office as well as the Real Property, Personal Property, & Business Valuation branch of the business. Ø Takes charge of tracking the progress of our current caseload of clients, promptly processes incoming requests for services, and identifies action items. Ø Creates and maintains an organized workflow/process for managing each case from start to finish. Ø Responds to customer inquiries promptly, issues billing statements, tracks receivables, and identifies outstanding charges. Ø Reviews all outgoing correspondence to ensure it is professional, grammatically correct, and accurate. Ø Organizes and maintains office areas to present a professional image to clients.

Minimum Qualifications:

Ø Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science required. Ø Must have strong organizational and project management skills. Ø Must be detail-oriented and conscientious presenting positive image to our clients. Ø Must have a strong command of formal English and razor-sharp editorial skills. Must have a professional phone manner and the willingness to embrace new client requests quickly and efficiently

Pay:

$35.00 - $45.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week
