Job Description

Senior Helpers of the South Coast is a leader of in-home care assistance services and we are looking to add a Part Time Administrative Assistant. Schedule will be Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 830am-5pm. This in person position requires someone who is flexible, detail oriented and able to work in a fast paced environment. Responsibilities and Duties Primary Responsibilities (including, but not limited to): We are seeking a reliable, organized, and friendly Office Assistant to support daily administrative operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has excellent communication skills, and enjoys providing exceptional customer service while helping keep the office running efficiently. Key Responsibilities Answer and direct incoming phone calls and greet visitors professionally. Perform general administrative duties, including filing, data entry, scanning, copying, and document preparation. Manage office supplies and maintain an organized office environment. Schedule appointments and maintain calendars. Respond to emails and assist with correspondence. Maintain accurate records and update databases. Assist with billing, invoicing, or other clerical tasks as needed. Support office staff with various administrative projects. Conduct initial phone screenings of job applicants, asking standardized screening questions, evaluating basic qualifications, documenting responses, and scheduling qualified candidates for interviews with the hiring manager. Maintain confidentiality of employee and applicant information. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred. Previous administrative or office experience preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general office equipment. Comfortable speaking with job applicants and assessing communication skills during initial phone screenings. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Professional demeanor and strong attention to detail.
