The Opportunity Description Are you organized, comfortable with technology, and interested in building a career in property management? We're looking for an Administrative Assistant who enjoys helping people, can stay on top of a busy workload, and is eager to learn.
What You'll Do:
Answer phones and emails, assist residents with questions, follow up on requests, and provide friendly, professional customer service. Enter and track maintenance work orders and help ensure residents receive timely follow-up. Handle a high volume of administrative work, including paperwork, electronic files, PDFs, scanning, filing, and document organization. Use Microsoft Office programs and property management systems to enter information, maintain records, and support day-to-day office operations. Work between our Sudbury and Maynard locations, with approximately two days each week spent supporting the Maynard property. Learn the property management business while supporting the onsite teams and taking on additional responsibilities as you grow.
What We're Looking For:
High School Diploma/GED required Minimum of 3 years' experience providing clerical and administrative support Must be proficient in
Word, PowerPoint, and Excel Typing:
75 wpm Strong organizational and administrative skills Be reliable, self-motivated, courteous, patient and compassionate Must be detail-oriented, able to work as a team player, and able to prioritize and perform multiple projects Must have a good command of the English language, be able to spell and accurately proofread correspondence prior to mailing This position is primarily based in Sudbury, MA, with approximately two days per week in Maynard, MA. The properties are approximately 15 minutes or less apart. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to learn the property management industry and potentially grow into additional responsibilities over time. You do not need to know everything about property management on day one—we're looking for someone who is dependable, organized, comfortable learning new systems, and ready to jump in. You may be a great fit if you are organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working on a computer, and able to manage multiple priorities without losing track of follow-up. Strong customer service skills are important—you'll interact regularly with residents and need to be patient, helpful, and professional. You should also be comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite, email, PDFs, and basic office technology. Previous administrative or customer service experience is helpful, but we especially value someone who is a quick learner, dependable, and genuinely interested in growing within property management. $22-$23 per hour, based on experience.
