Job Description

eBridge Montessori School is seeking a responsible, caring, and dependable Administrative & Classroom Assistant to support the daily operations of our school. This position combines administrative support with hands-on assistance in our classrooms and afterschool program. The ideal candidate is organized, flexible, positive, and enjoys working with children. This position provides an opportunity to gain experience in both school administration and a Montessori educational environment. Responsibilities Administrative Support Assist with routine office and administrative tasks. Assist other administrative staff with projects and tasks as assigned. Classroom Support Step into different classrooms when additional support is needed. Assist teachers with daily classroom routines and activities. Help prepare and organize classroom materials and learning environments. Support children during transitions, outdoor play, meals, and other daily routines. Provide appropriate supervision and support to children while maintaining a calm and respectful environment. Assist with the daily operation of the afterschool program. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience working with children is preferred. Strong organizational and communication skills. Dependable, responsible, and willing to learn. Comfortable working as part of a team and taking direction. Able to adapt to different tasks and environments throughout the school day. Warm, patient, respectful, and attentive when working with children. Must be willing to complete required Massachusetts early childhood education training and background checks before working with children.
Pay:
$18.00 - $24.00 per hour
