Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Construction Project Administrator to join our team and drive the successful execution of construction projects from inception to completion. In this vital role, you will coordinate project activities, manage documentation, and support project teams to ensure timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality standards. Your proactive approach and strong organizational skills will help streamline communication among stakeholders, contractors, and suppliers, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes efficiency and excellence in construction management. Responsibilities Facilitate project planning by maintaining schedules using Primavera P6 or other scheduling software, ensuring alignment with project milestones and deadlines. Assist in preparing and managing construction estimates utilizing Construction estimating tools and HeavyBid to support accurate budgeting. Coordinate with project teams to develop and update construction plans, schedules, and resource allocations using construction management software. Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, RFIs (Request for Information), submittals, and daily reports with precision and attention to detail. Support cost management efforts through Excel data analysis and tracking project expenditures against budgets. Collaborate with field teams on construction site activities to ensure compliance with safety standards, plans, and specifications. Use civil engineering project management software to monitor progress, identify potential delays, and recommend corrective actions proactively. Assist in contract administration by reviewing terms, tracking deliverables, and supporting project coordination efforts across multiple stakeholders. Maintain effective communication channels among project managers, contractors, suppliers, and clients to facilitate smooth operations. Contribute to project scheduling adjustments as needed by analyzing data and utilizing scheduling software like Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project. Requirements Proven experience in construction project management or administration within the construction industry. Strong proficiency in construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, Civil engineering project management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Hands-on construction site experience with a solid understanding of construction plans and site operations. Demonstrated ability to analyze data effectively using Excel for cost control and schedule tracking. Knowledge of construction estimating processes and contract administration practices. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Effective communication skills for coordinating between diverse teams and stakeholders. Familiarity with construction scheduling techniques and software such as Primavera P6 or scheduling modules within project management platforms. Ability to adapt quickly to changing project needs while maintaining a proactive approach toward problem-solving. Relevant certifications or training in construction management or related fields are preferred but not mandatory. Join us in shaping the future of construction projects!
