Job Description

Administrative Office Assistant Job Summary:
The Administrative Assistant facilitates the efficient operation of the assigned department by performing a variety of clerical and administrative tasks.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None Duties/Responsibilities:
Answers and transfers phone calls, screening when necessary. Maintains filing and sharepoint documents as assigned. Retrieves information as requested from records, email, minutes, and other related documents. Responds to and resolves administrative inquiries and questions. Coordinates and schedules Lodging, meetings, and appointments for managers or supervisors. Maintains office supplies and coordinates maintenance of office equipment. Familiarity with recording expenses and the use of petty cash. May assist in training of newly hired personnel. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal and customer service skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, and Multitasking and highly organized. Working knowledge of Business Policies, Procedures and Office Functions such as Sales, HR, AR, AP, Billing. Proven ability to prioritize workload independently and adjust priorities as circumstances change. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and interruptions and complete tasks accurately and timely.
Education and Experience:
Associate's degree in related field preferred. Three to five years of experience in an administrative role. Basic knowledge of QuickBooks preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
