Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced 2nd Shift Automotive Program Manager to lead our Artisan Center's automotive initiatives. Daily Schedule/Shift 2nd shift 2PM

  • 10:30PM Monday
  • Friday Onsite Will work 1st shift for training and then move to 2nd shift Artisan Center

In addition to the traditional pre-production work, we specialize in crafting bespoke vehicles for discerning customers, and tackling complex projects, making our facility a hub of excitement and professional growth opportunities. Our commitment to excellence extends to incorporating cutting-edge technologies such as robotics, new structure design and joining elements, 3D printing, advanced electrical architectures and virtual reality build events. About the Assistant Project/Program Manager role: As an Assistant Program/Project Manager within the Artisan Center organization, you will play a pivotal role in supporting engineering, manufacturing, validation, quality, and supply chain efforts to ensure the successful execution of build events, and special projects. This role demands collaboration across multiple functions to drive program success. This role offers exposure to various corporate functions and opportunities for developing solid program management and leadership skills. Strong communication skills, sense of urgency and a collaborative work ethic are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in creating Key Indicator Reports for new areas of business Take on key initiatives designed to promote growth at the Artisan Center Take on new initiatives with automating current processes to enhance efficiency Assist Program Manager in an SME role in non-traditional work portfolio Ability to effectively manage change Effectively communicate status of projects to leadership Engage global teams as required. Lead planning & readiness activities to support non-traditional work, special assignments and pre-production as required Support quality processes and build floor activities. Easel board reviews Escalation process Build site direction (BSDs) Daily Production meetings Support achievement of BPD objectives following GMS principals. Lead and execute special projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

High level of analytical ability where problems are unusual and difficult. Good oral and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others. Demonstrated ability to work independently and with others. Demonstrated ability to manage numerous issues and work on projects simultaneously. Demonstrated ability to lead and support cross functional team activities.

Preferred Qualifications:

An understanding of manufacturing, quality, project management, or engineering processes

  • Education Requirement
  • Associate's degree in a related field is required Years of experience
  • at least 8-10 years of experience required Need someone that knows how to build a vehicle or familiar with the manufacturing process (full line manufacturing, prototype experience would be very beneficial) Understanding the change management process This person will be working between the floor and program management Problem solving They are on their feet a lot in this position Someone with a quality background would be a good fit for this position • Top 3 must-have hard skills 1 Experience working with program execution.

Pay:

$45.00

  • $48.

00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
