Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Front Office Assistant to join our team. This vital role serves as the first point of contact for visitors, ensuring a welcoming environment while efficiently managing administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, proficiency with electronic systems, and a solid understanding of billing procedures. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-quality care through exceptional front desk support and administrative excellence. Responsibilities Greet visitors warmly, providing excellent customer service and answering multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy. Verify, perform eligibility checks, and conduct verification to facilitate smooth billing processes. Schedule appointments accurately using scheduling software. Manage check-in and check-out processes, including collecting co-pays and updating demographic information. Review and organize records, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining confidentiality at all times. Assist with documentation review, and billing procedures to support accurate billing and claims submission. Maintain office supplies, manage filing systems, and perform clerical duties such as data entry, typing, and document preparation using Microsoft Office tools. Support staff with administrative tasks such as care plan documentation, intake procedures, and office management activities. Assist with a variety of different tasks. Experience Prior experience working in a office setting is highly preferred, especially within dental clinics or hospitals or any other office setting. Demonstrated proficiency with systems is essential; familiarity with management software. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, and guidelines to ensure accurate documentation and billing. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle phone etiquette professionally in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse populations effectively. Experience with insurance verification processes, information management, and administrative support is advantageous. Competency in computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) along with familiarity with multi-line phone systems and 10-key typing for efficient data entry.
