Full Job Description Role:
Administrative Assistant This role at Kennedy Industries, Inc. is responsible for multiple areas within the organization. Assist with general accounting needs, and champion the Company Safety Program. Coordinating office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies. Keep stock of office supplies and place orders when needed and or necessary along with answering phones and directing calls to the appropriate recipient. The ideal candidate will be competent in prioritizing and working with little supervision. They will be self-motivated and trustworthy. This position reports to the Inside Sales Manager of the company.
Essential Functions:
Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies. Support budgeting and bookkeeping procedures. Create and update records and databases with personnel, financial and other data. Submit timely reports as required. Uploading inventory to vendor site Creating Capital Project O&M Manuals Updating spreadsheets and sending out on schedule to the team. Stocking and handling of office supplies and kitchens. Collecting and dispursing of mail. Outstanding communication, phone and organizational skills. Proven knowledge of the ERP system and the ability to utilize the system as needed. Provide clerical support necessary to others within the organization. Other duties as deemed necessary by the department manager or Company Senior Leadership.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma. Ability to remain professional and courteous with customers at all time 2+ years of experience.
Proficient in using:
Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Global Shop Experience in Monday.com and AI Marketing preferred by not required Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
