Software Development Administration Assistant

GENERAL SUMMARY
A Software Development Administration Assistant provides critical clerical and operational support to development teams. They manage department schedules, track project milestones, coordinate meetings, maintain technical documentation, and assist with software assets, bridging the gap between development teams and administrative needs. You will be the central hub of administrative operations, ensuring that our software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes, meetings, and project documentation run seamlessly
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Organize and schedule project meetings, stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Record, transcribe, and distribute meeting minutes and action items to the development team. Track daily progress and deliverables against project timelines using Agile/Scrum methodologies. Prepare technical reports, presentations, and project status updates for stakeholders. Maintain and organize team wikis, repositories, and documentation (e.g., Confluence, HCL Connections). Assist developers and project managers in formatting software documentation, release notes, and user manuals. Organize and archive completed project files and source code assets. Serve as the point of contact for external vendors and internal cross-functional departments. Manage departments software licensing renewals, subscriptions, and IT hardware inventory. Assist HR and management with onboarding new staff members (e.g., equipment provisioning, software access requests).
QUALIFICATIONS
1 to 3 years of administrative support or project coordination experience, preferably within a tech, IT, or software development environment.
