Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources has an opening for an Administrative Assistant to provide administrative services at our Harrison Diversion Center in Gulfport, MS. The Administrative Assistant position plays a vital role in Pine Belt's ability in coordinating communication between team members and operating/coordinating administrative services for the specified location. Position is Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with no on-call or weekend work. For 50 years, Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources has served individuals throughout the Pine Belt. Through an extensive continuum of care, we strive to enable adults with serious mental illnesses, children with serious emotional disturbances, and individuals with an addiction or developmental disability to live, work, learn, and participate fully in their communities. Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record required
Good communication skills in both verbal and written settings
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel, required
Ability to manage multiple projects and to complete assigned tasks on schedule
Responsibilities:
Works directly with referral system receiving Service Authorizations, verifies accuracy, make corrections as needed.
Requests ASPs, sends documents to referral sources as needed.
Completes paperwork, purchases supplies, and maintains medical records.
Provides quality assurance on medical records for content as needed and provides follow up.
Completes duties as needed to ensure compliance with PBMHR and CARF standards.
