Job Description
Provides administrative and operational support for University auxiliary and housing services. Responsibilities include administering faculty and staff housing operations; processing and maintaining all documentation related to the rental and leasing of University-owned houses, apartments, and mini-storage facilities; processing utility bills; purchasing appliances and equipment; preparing work orders, requisitions, remittance vouchers, invoices, correspondence, and other administrative documents; conducting research; monitoring the progress and completion of work orders and maintenance requests; and maintaining accurate housing rosters and related records. The position is also responsible for coordinating billing and charges associated with campus copy machine leases. Serves as the Property Accountability Accountant for the University, including maintaining property records, preparing monthly property accountability reports, ensuring compliance with state and institutional property management requirements, conducting asset reconciliations, and recording year-end property and depreciation-related journal entries to the general ledger. The director supervises the coordinator/manager of the University post office, print shop, bookstore and laundry services
