Description North Mississippi Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Associates in Tupelo is seeking a highly motivated and organized Front Office Assistant to join our team and help us deliver exceptional care to our patients. The ideal candidate will have experience in an oral surgery or dental practice, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and provide compassionate, professional service to our patients and their families.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Experienced in verifying insurance benefits and determining pre-pays for surgeries and consultations. Skilled in using EMR systems with strong attention to accuracy and detail. Knowledgeable in patient financials, including collecting payments and discussing treatment plans. Proficient in answering and managing a busy multi-line phone system. Experienced in filing insurance claims and ensuring proper documentation for timely processing. Scheduling procedures for clinical visits Greeting patients with a smile as they arrive for their appointment Answering calls promptly Schedule/Reschedule patient visits Prepare patient charts & daily schedules Enjoy interacting with patients and working in a team environment The ability to stay organized while working in a fast-paced environment Collect payments Focused on details Perform general office duties Requirements Dental or Oral Surgery Experience required.
