Job Description

We are looking for a responsible Asphalt Paving Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks both in the field and in the office. On-site training is not offered for this position. Must have knowledge of asphalt construction, Understand basic asphalt specifications. Be able to complete on-site field measurments.
Duties include:
  • Provide general clerical, receptionist, and project-based work.
  • Assist project managers, estimators, and safety managers.
  • Perform clerical duties: photocopying, faxing, mailing and filing.
  • Perform errands and special projects as needed, manage sub-contractors, submittals, , etc.)
  • Maintain compliance with Federal and State DOT regulations.
  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office admin assistant. 2+ years experience required.
  • Accurate typing, proofreading, and record-keeping skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
  • Possess professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Driver's license with a clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with Department of Transportation (DOT) rules and compliance issues.
